You mean a 4.6 like GT mutangs or a legit 460? Someone around here, not a V6 a GT has done a 460 swap. Check his build thread if you can find it for more info or pm him.

Sure. How about we'll compare dollar per hp, fuel economy and over all streetability of the cars while we're at it?

Sticking with my 460 = boat anchor comment.

from carb to pan , including headers for $4100.00(a power adder alone will cost you that much)

made 625hp @ 6300 rpm on a engine dyno, and i always have atleast a 200 shot or more on tap.

I've drove it to the track, and back. and drove it all over town just about every Friday and Saturday night. and all iron except the intake. runs 10's on motor and more torque then you could think of through the whole power curve(N/a to boot)...now what was you saying...most that call these motors boat anchors, dont know how to make one run. now you might get me on MPG, since i enjoy spirited driving so much.

Yeah but a 500hp sub 3000lb car I think would still beat you, that things gotta weigh a ton. Those stickers look retarded in your enginebay.

$4100 for a power adder alone!? Who would drop that much on a power adder unless if pushed you well over 600 at the wheels?

Carb to oil pan... meaning removal of pollution control (EGR), makes it not 100% street legal. To and from the track and around town doesn't make it a "driver".

So far I have similar power to weight, better fuel economy, less cost, a similar flat tq curve, a car I've driven all over the country on road trips and something street legal. Keep trying.

Still ugly. Better, but ulgy. lol. And I was thinking of someone who did this swap into a new edge not a notch.
