has anyone ever swapped a 460 into a v6 mustang? my uncle has a built 460 and c4 trans that he was gonna put in a race car but changed his mind so now he has a 460 sitting around, btw i have a 1997 mustang.
heres the build thread here https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6l...ld-thread.html

Sticking with my 460 = boat anchor comment.

made 625hp @ 6300 rpm on a engine dyno, and i always have atleast a 200 shot or more on tap.
I've drove it to the track, and back. and drove it all over town just about every Friday and Saturday night. and all iron except the intake. runs 10's on motor and more torque then you could think of through the whole power curve(N/a to boot)...now what was you saying...most that call these motors boat anchors, dont know how to make one run. now you might get me on MPG, since i enjoy spirited driving so much.
i wanna see this 500hp sub 3000lb car beat a 9 second car...you funny or stupid or something
how's that engine bay look now?

yep thats ten shades of gay isnt it

from carb to pan , including headers for $4100.00(a power adder alone will cost you that much)

Carb to oil pan... meaning removal of pollution control (EGR), makes it not 100% street legal. To and from the track and around town doesn't make it a "driver".
So far I have similar power to weight, better fuel economy, less cost, a similar flat tq curve, a car I've driven all over the country on road trips and something street legal. Keep trying.
