Brake Help PLEASE!
Hey everybody im new to this forum. I have a 2004 Mustang and I was doing my brakes for the first time ever on that car. The fronts were easy. On the backs I didnt know I was suppose to twist the piston when you compress it and I ended up braking it. So I bought a new caliber. My question is How do you get that PITA parking brake cable off the caliber? I got the end of the cable unhooked and busted the spring off but how do I get the cable threw the hole? Its been driving me crazy for the last couple hours. Thanks!
I just took a set of pliers and grabbed ahold of the little *** on the end of the cable and pulled. Gave about a half inch of play in order to unhook the cable. Hope that helps...
