power steering pump bracket

Default power steering pump bracket

hi can the mustang be run with out the power steering pump/water pump bracket? i ask because i replaced my power steering pump and i left it out

you mean that black plate steel piece that has 2 hole on the water pump and 2 holes on the power steering pump? cause if so it was put there for a reason.

Neo is right. You can run the car without it but it is there to keep the pump in place. I would put it back on as soon as possible. I know getting that pulley off is a PIA but like Neo said "its there for a reason".
