Default Need some opinions

Ok as I said in my previous post, I was hit in the left front the other day. Damage isn't too bad, alignment is messed up, could have a bent tie rod end, and the front bumper has a hole in it, along with some scratches and minor dents on the fender.

I am planing on taking this opportunity to spend the insurance money on upgrading the car, I haven't gotten the appraisal done yet (insurance company won't move without the police report, and my police department seems to be the slowest on the planet), but I am assuming just a new bumper and the painting will be quoted around $1000 in parts and labor, never mind the potential front end damage.

So long story short, I am not going to fix the cosmetic damage right away, I have a long term plan that involves building up the car before worrying about outward appearance.

What I am planning on spending this money on is the following:
Ford Racing Cobra Control Arms
Raybestos Inner Tie Rod End
Raybestos Inner Tie Rod End
Raybestos Outer Tie Rod End
Raybestos Outer Tie Rod End
Tokico Blues Complete Set
Maximum Motorsports Caster Plates

Wants
Cobra Front Brake Kit
Raybestos Master Cylinder

I know going to a coil over set up with QA1 control arms would be better, but I don't like the way coil overs look, so unless there are better control arms out there that don't require the coil overs I am sold on the Cobra arms. Other than that I would welcome to hear your opinions.

Never heard anyone say they don't like the way coilovers look before.

I guess I am quirky that way, but I much prefer to look under a car and see a separate spring and strut. Most likely comes from my days of working on race cars, the series I was in didn't allow coil overs.

Off topic, but where in western MA are you located?

I noticed you have a 97, was going to say I've got a front bumper from my car if the hole bothered you, but mine's a 2000.

I am in the springfield area, the hole doesn't bother me too much, I plan on buying either a Cobra or Roush bumper for it, but I want to do all the mechanical work before I start on the body.

I have a pretty good plan for the car in my head, but getting the money is going a little slow.
