Default Powder Coating Rims

Hey Yall -

I am looking for advice on Power Coating Rims, specifically the ones in the picture below.

I would change the rims completely, but the tires are brand new (On the car when I bought them) and I cant find any 16 inch black rims for this model Mustang. But anyways, here are my concerns with powder coating....

a. What kind of price am I looking at for all 4 rims?
b. Do rims look 'good' when powder coated?
c. Is there an alternative to power coating?

Thanks yall! This is my first car, so I'm sure I will be around on the boards quite a bit looking for advice. I've added a few more cosmetic things to the car since that picture was taken, so I will defiantly add some update pictures soon.

Happy Easter!

a local shop here charged 60 dollars a wheel (if i took in the wheels by themselves) . 80 if i just dropped of my car.

those wheels look good i think with a nice semigloss powdercoat.
why get new wheels when you have brand new tires.

you could also simply spray paint them, or take them to a body shop and let them paint them for you.

or you could save the money from powder coating and get a nice set of wheels and tires when its time to replace those. just my .02 cent.

ive never been a fan of the stock 16'' rims being painted/powdercoated but to each their own.

I'm not a fan, but I think those powder coated will look better than stock on your car. But if your going to pay $80-100 per wheel, you could take that $400 and spend it on a new set of rims. 99-04 GT 5 spoke "starfish" style rims can be found in good shape on craigslist with brand new or almost brand new tires for $400. Much better option imo. Plus many people here love them because of their lightweight.

If your gonna go with powder coated rims, just get the powder coated white bullits, would look really good on your car and they go for a great price too.
