gh, your best bet will be to wander on over to the S197 4.0L section. This v6 section is mainly for 3.8L tech and discussion. You're more than welcome to post and ask questions, but you'll get a lot more help if you go into the right section. If you still need help, feel free to post in here, a few of us know a pretty good bit, we jsut don't have our hands in the 05+ quite so much.

Welp if it were me I would do the exhaust (LT's), gears then save the rest for a X-Charger Supercharger kit or STS remote mount turbo kit or being in Texas you could get a more traditional turbo setup and not have to worry about not passing a smog test.

Either way - exhaust, gears, power adder.

After that you can go about other supporting mods, suspension, brakes and so on.

If you supercharge, go with the Banshee M90 from C and M. It's FAR cheaper than the Explorer Express X Charger setup, and puts down more power. It's very popular among the Explorer crowd.
