Lower?
Just to be clear, the drop doesn't REQUIRE new caster/camber plates. However, because your front wheels will no longer be straight up and down - but more angled from inside to outside, top to bottom - you will see accelerated tire wear on the inside of your front tires...plus your car will pull a little more on uneven pavement.
difenently a great mod. although relatively expensive (if done right) it makes a world of difference. Nomatter how much you lower it your handling will improve. and same with the looks of the car its gonna look better nomatter what. but i would just wait until you are able to get a good all round setup including caster camber plates. its worth it.
last year i installed the eibach prokit, steeda camber casterplates, strut tower brace, and rear sway bar. World of diference. and after you do that look into some 18'' rims with some nice tires.
Check out my sig for a pic with all that stuff installed

1.5" is border line needing the CC plates.
If you want to be safer, Roush makes a set of springs made to work with the stock V6 suspension parts. I have yet to hear of anyone not liking the ride or the drop they got with the Roush springs.
