Once you drop any car it's always that possibility. I swear I think they are making the speed bumps higher just to screw with people. I always, I repeat always, drive at a angle when going over any speed bump. Also I never let anyone drive my car (not even my wife) because they may forget or not drive it at the right angle over a speed bump..

mine was lowered about 1.5'' ish. my exhaust seems to hang very low and so my cats scrap just alittle whenever i go over the speed bump in my neighbor. just like a ping though. nothing crazy. one day ill raise the exhaust up...

But yeah, Just depends on how low it is lowered. anything less than 1.5'' i think you should be fine.

Yeah I have the same drop as you and any speed bumps or anything like that my exhaust will scrape a little, nothing crazy.

I had my exhaust completely redone and tucked up against the bottom of the car. Otherwise, it wouldnt make it over anything.

Another problem with going low, is driveshaft and pinion angles. I dont think there is a lowering spring on the market that goes low enough, but coilovers will. Basically, you lower the car at all, and the pinion ends up being HIGHER than the tail of the transmission. Go too low, and the driveshaft/pinion angle causes the u-joints to clunk loudly. Just a warning to anybody that wants to dump their car.

I really think I got lucky when I droped my car. I bought drop zone springs (ebay) almost three years ago and haven't had any problems or issues what so ever. I rode in a car with a buddy and mine who has eibachs sportlines, with no other suspension mods, and I (we) couldn't tell the different. I guess if you can afford it, why not go with the best!! Money was just kinda tight back then..
