When in neutral the car will hit the rev limiter pretty quickly and i think its even lower than the standard rev limiter. Might be that; I can't watch the videos; i am on my phone!

mine was doing this but kinda backawrds whe nit wanted to stall out under 500 rpms it would make a wierd noise on the driver site like a rattle.. what were the codes coming up as? could be your valve seats and sticks open while theother one is opening.. kind of sounds like detonation issues at higher rpms but i could be wrong.. I has a vaccum leak to pcv and i for got to put bolt back on and tighten it because it slid way down the metal tube and never realized it was there till i tore it back apart..another thing could be warped head possibly.. deffinatley chech the valves though but try cleaning your idle air control valve first this also helped mine allot... i get to four grand in the rpms and it feel like my car shot nos in the system lolol then it could be as simple as your rev limiters .. try the cleaneable and easy thngs first.. because tearing the head apart isn't the funnest thing to do..well i like it its fucn to diassemble and reassemble but it is a pain in the ***...but the detonation would be caused by the timing.. but if it runds good under four grand i dont see why the timing would be bad,, could allways do a monster v8 swap lol... i was allways wondering if we could put smallblocks with a carb on instread of this fuel injected bull**** now days... bothing like a good old motor.. minus all the bullspit electical

Could it be starving for fuel over 4K rpms? Motor mounts?

Whens the last time you checked the plugs? If you find oil on any let me know, I prolly know your problem....normal plugs that have been in use typically are ash/light grey in color.
