7.5 T lock junk yard help.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any cars that came with a 7.5/Tlock combo. I was just guna grab one from a local junk yard if anyone knew any cars that did and knew what to look for.

Just look up a rear end identification list. It's not hard to tell. Try to find rear ends that still have the tag on the cover. If you see an "L" and a "7 5" then you've found the right thing.
It'll read on two lines like this
S362C
3L55 75 9e12
The 3 55 is the gear ratio, the "L" is lsd, the lack of an "L" means open diff. the 75 is 7.5 rear end
Here are examples of what you'll most likely see on the 2nd line of the tag so you can know you;ve found what you need
2L73 75 <---2.73 lsd
3L27 75 <---3.27 lsd
3L45 75 <---3.45 lsd
I wouldn't bother reusing the old gears you find, and I highly recommend having the lsd rebuilt. It's actually pretty cheap for the kits.
