Default More Daily Driving fun

I already have true-dual exhaust w/ MAC mufflers, CAI, tuner, and 8.8 rear end w/ 3.73. I'm considering getting the VAP Windstar intake and maybe a cam from Supersixmotorsports. I guess my question is should I get a lower intake instead of the cam, use that money to get new heads instead, or what??? As I said, I'm just trying to get a little more fun out of my daily driving experience.

That's what I was leaning towards, but I wasn't really sure what would give me the best gains. Do I have to have P&P lower intake to see good results from the Windstar?

If you can get a p&p lower, windstar upper, and a cam.

No you don't need a ported lower to see an improvement from the windstar swap, will it help yes. My vote is cam and windstar.

bring your old lower to a shop or do it yourself. Its not difficult and in the end you save a butt ton of money.

I think I'll look into having a shop P&P my lower intake! What about the stock heads...are they very restrictive? Will I eventually need to upgrade that as well?

if im correct the SSM heads are the stock heads that are ported, and then ground open for larger valves and a few other upgrades

The SSM heads are just ported out stock heads. They flow much better than the stock heads do. But for what you have the stock heads aren't really holding you back. You will have a mild setup that will be fun to drive around on. I have talked to a lot of people who think the cam is the bottleneck in the system and then others who think the heads are. lol You will need a good tune if you are going to get a cam put in. Should definitely surprise a few GT owners. lol
