Default Quick Camshaft Question

I plan on having my cam installed by a shop around here. Does the engine have to be removed just to install it? What would be a good price estimate?

Can't help on price, I would guess $300-400 but it's a complete guess. I'm 99% sure you can do it without removing the engine but removing the radiator and some other stuff.

You don't have to remove the engine.

Here's a good write up.

No you don't have to remove the engine, or even the entire upper half of the block, however it's still not an easy task by any means.

I was quotes 12 hours of labor at $85 /hour, plus all the gaskets. Might want to replace the timing chain while you are at it and have it all apart.
