Default stereo question

i think the stock head unit is 8 inches diagonally.

i was going to get this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...s+BV9560B.html (it comes with wiring compatible with the mach system and a mounting kit)

it is a 7" screen

would there be a big gap or something, since its an inch smaller or what??? or would the trim around the screen fill out the extra space?

should i go with an 8 inch instead?

(this was said to fit in my model)

Im pretty sure youll need the radio bezel for your year car along with that headunit. The double din bezel should work just fine and fill in that extra space. Metra has the right one, just make sure its a double din.

I used a single din for just my headunit and the extra space was filled in with a little compartment to hold stuff.

It'll fit, but save up and buy a nicer unit.

thanks.... $300 is really the max i could go.

i have to get an alignment, get new tires soon (unless i want to put on my stock rims.... which i dont), pay my insurance, pay for gas..., and all other things in my life.

this is what i now think i'll go with.... http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...-7350NRBT.html that's as expensive as i can go... the reviews are great (the others' were ****)

anything 300u anybody would recommend?

If I ever have the cash to replace mine I'm going all Pioneer. They have a very nice double din head unit. I thought I might add a sub to the car too. Perhaps a Bazooka or something.
