Engine Swap
Here's a tip. You will get a better response out of the 4.6 forum. This is a 4.6 engine you are talking about.
But as long as I am here.....
You will need.
* The engine
* Full wiring harness from the engine
* All the electrical to the ECU and any sensors
* If you want to do the whole front suspension. You can get a full kit for $900 bux to beef up that front suspension.
* It would be wise to upgrade the brakes.
* Transmission would have to be upgraded and then you would need the wiring harness for that.
* An 8.8" rear end would be preferable because the stock 7.5" isnt as strong, probably only good up untill about 400-450 ft-lbs torque but it CAN be beefed up if you really didnt want to change. Auburn makes a great Diff for it.
* Exhaust off of a GT. The H pipe, headers, you know the whole shabang.
* Live in a state that will allow you to swap the engine in your car.
Somes states like California wont allow you to put an engine in a car that wasnt originally offered with it. So check with local laws first, you might be limited to a 4.6 2V or 4V. If you can only find a 2V then do the PI head swap which will increase your power to something like 265hp or around there, all you need for that is 99+ heads off a GT.
There are alot of other things that you will need to do for the swap.
This is just for starters.... I don't quite know everything you will need.

Man just keep your six and beef her up. Look at it this way. If you want a GT, you can get yourself one for a lot less expense and hassle rather than having to swap a ton of parts. Besides, if you beef up the six and smoke some 8's, you'll have them eating out of the palm of your hand.
