Default Spring isolators

What do they do and are the needed?

They prevent metal to metal contact between the spring and the spring perch so you dont get squeaks.

They absorb some of the impact while driving.

I have both top and bottom iso's removed in the front and the bottom removed in the rear.

I have NO metal to metal squeaks either.
