May I ask how old you are? I'm guessing 15-17. No way a grown man would tell a 16 yr old kid the things that you are saying. Live for today! Thats just plain stupid..

OP, i'm 16 and i love to waste money, but i have to agree with them. that's a **** load of money to put down into something that could be ****ed up or stolen any minute.
i have some plans for my car, but at the same time, i save money and put restrictions on myself. just buy a few things at a time and as you go, see if you still want to get the other ****.

wow.... thats a quite a list. Hope you didn''t forget anything lol. Your gonna help alot of sales reps met their quota this quarter if nothing else. Good luck with all of this. I know your young and you have your whole life to save and ya ya ya (just like what all these guys are b****ing to you about) and you think just like every kid thinks. "I'll have plenty of time to save and bank away money. For pete sakes im 16 & without a care in the world" Like what do a bunch of internet car gurus' know? Well.... for starters we know that a couple of us have choosen the path your about to embarked and have ended up Royaly screwed because of it. I wouldn't be too cocerned about a stolen car. It can haven anytime to anyone. Thats small compared to the money spent. Listen, if you have the money to shell all this out now. How about you wait ehh 2 years? Just til you graduate H.S. then see if you have the same feelings. Plus since your making hand over foot in cash you should be able to do this entire list with a new car too. But hey we here on MF can lead a horse to water but we can't make it drink water.
