Roller rockers? I know you either need roller rockers or springs.

 

Nope, the first cam that went into my 100% stock super coupe bottom end + mustang top end didn't get anything but push rods and it was .53 lift, had it been a billet cam it would have just went in without push rods, and I took that thing up to 6200 daily.

 

Very strange... oh well, Comp cams and SSM highly recommended it, so I did it

Haha well that's true, but I was also told by the person helping me do the install to change the springs, as a precaution.

 

sooo the final thought is? lol need springs,rods,ect? or no

With .55 lift I would definitely get new springs and maybe longer pushrods. Email SSM and ask what he suggests. That's a lot of lift
