Default Racing question

So V6 5 speed guys...when you guys hit the track typically what rpm's do you launch at / engage clutch? Im going to be doing some just for fun runs in a few weeks. I just want to know the optimal launch RPM for the fastest time. If it matters im running 245/45/17 yokohomas.

I've never really beat on my car badly, but can the tranny and rear end handle the upcoming abuse? my car's got almost 125,000 mi what's your recommendations? Id like the launch to be fast...but yet safe for my car

On a stock drive train, I would dump ot to hard. Slowly work your way up. Ideal RPM will depend on tire, tire temp, track prep and temp of the track (which will get warmer as the event goes).
