Tinted taill ights and head lights

Black em out... Don't use the static cling tint... It most likely will not stick. But it's sooo cheap from ebay (pre-cut), that you can try it and give it a shot.
My tail lights are sprayed professionally with a black/clearcoat mixture. It allows you to go as dark as you want. I had the stangmods vinyl on there but took it off bc it wasnt cut well enough for my standards and i wanted to go darker than the "smoked" tint i had on there.. The covers are crappy bc they take away the lines of the tail lights which are in my opinion a very nice feature on these cars... I too recommend buying smoked clear corner headlights. But if you must, sometimes you can spray the headlights professionally and they will come out nice....
VHT always fades on me and i use clearcoat. It looks great for a couple months, but fades with the sun on bigger items. (for me at least). I used VHT on my 3rd brake light and reflectors though. It comes out great if you can use a spray can...
This is just me, but i have my tails this dark and no problems with the law (so far *knock on wood*)
My vote goes to professionally sprayed tails and smoked clear corners if the wallet can handle it

reason everyone stays away from ebay/walmart(lol) is quality. Yeah its cheaper, but do you honestly want to go back and purchase a more expensive one after having learned your lesson?

And when I pass cops, I turn on the lights to help out my tail light situation Lol. And I lower my windows too. Pretty annoying, but I'd rather do that than not have the tinting on my car.
