Exclamation Parking Brake Help

I am currently working on a 1994 Mustang with a 3.8 liter V6, and a 5-speed manual transmission.
I have to replace my e-brake cables and have gotten them almost completely removed, except for the bracket that holds the TWO separate brake lines as soon as they leave the interior.
Where the single line from my mechanism meets my double lines, there is a bracket right there, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the lines.
Help would be greatly appreciated!

Not that it helps much but there is an e-brake recall where you bring your car into the dealer and they will service it for you free of charge to fix the issues that they have.

As for the last time I removed an e-brake cable, it was a long long time ago.
I think I just removed it as an entire unit from either side of the rear but its been a long time.

Have you checked your Chilton or other manual yet?

When I purchased the car about three months ago, the only manual was the factory one. I still need to purchase a repair manual.
As for bringing it to a dealer, the car is currently on blocks, and I am trying to do all the work myself. I am capable of do the job, its just the lack of specific knowledge with emergency brake brackets.
For more Info: The rear calipers were seized because the parking brake spring was always on, so the park brake was always being yanked on with no result. The cables are pinched and seized so I need to remove them.

I had to replace that piece several years ago, and I seem to recall the cables just being held in by tension, I could be wrong because it was a long time ago, but I remember not having any difficulty with it at all. If you could post a picture it might help jog my memory.

Sorry about the Quality, they're short notice.
And yes, I realize the Irony of my tag saying "This thread is worthless without pics"... Thanks in advance.

notice on the end of the of the cable sheath there are clips that can be pressed in and then slipped out backwards, if you're replacing them just take some bolt cutter and clip them, get it over with fast and easy.

Okay, so I've found out that the new cables wont include those things with the tabs, so I'm thinking that I shouldn't cut them off, but now what? There is barely an inch of working space, so should I remove the drive shaft to get those cables out?
