Default Misfire with no codes

Last night I developed a miss at idle. I already have the P1507 code being thrown for the IAC gasket mod, So I didnt know if it was throwing a code.

Well today I took it over to my brother in laws and hooked up the scanner. Only code I have is the P1507 one. Unhooked the reader, started the car and hooked it back up, still only the one code.

Now I know that my wires are original from 99, but I tested them a few months ago and they all came back good(changed plugs too). Yes the wires could have gone bad since then but I tested a few other things. Pulled the wires off each plug individually to see which is misfiring. No change.

Now do I suspect the coil pack?

I suspect I am misfiring on 3 cylinders, goes *brump* normal *brum-brump* or *brump* normal *brump* normal *brump*.

It does backfire when I let off, not really bad but a light snap.

Undo the gasket mod first, and see if it helps.

That was my first idea. Gonna try it tomorrow or else drive to my rents and grab the gasket on the weekend.
