so syn says 175, and shadow says 190, can we compromise and say 180? I need way more than that. I got my *** handed to me by an srt4, and barely beat a base camaro. THIS WILL NOT DO!! Onto the mods we go!

You won't be catching that SRT4 any time soon without some kind of forced induction. SRT4s are LIGHT and usually make more power. The Camaro on the other hand shouldn't be an issue unless its a 10+

Also, Shadow is estimating his numbers by using a time he got in the 1/4. I believe he is using the Dynolicious app on the Iphone/Ipod Touch

This srt4 was modified out the *** too. CF Hood and spoiler, full body kit, HIDS. Plan to keep up with them eventually. I was gonna save up and get a cobra, but if i got anything faster I coudnt afford my insurance, so i'll make my sixer into a cobra. So first things first, I'm going to get it dyno'ed, and see where im at. Im getting my X pipe then would headers be a good second option?

Only headers worth getting are long tube headers, so get those first then get your mid pipe based on those. If you get a mid pipe first, then LT headers, you'll need to get a new mid pipe again, or have someone modify yours to fit.

How did you get a 35th anniversary 2000 mustang?

Also +1 on never being able to catch a SRT4. There is a black one roaming around here and he put bus lengths on a Viper, the next day the Viper owner ordered up a 200 shot and the button says "black SRT" on it.

Yeah long tubes are what I was aiming for. I will need to get new mids for my car to run?

Once again, just going off what the previous owner tells me.

"Car is 1999 35th anniversary, but assembled in 2000"

makes no sense, ik ik

You'll need a new mid pipe to get your exhaust back together. Since the long tubes are well, longer, the mid pipe you have for shorty headers simply will be too long to fit.

And the 35th anni. is BS too, lol. It's usually the opposite, I have a 2000 that was assembled 11/99. What does the year on your title say?

you guys do know that model years go from say 6/99 to 6/00. They dont start on January 1st. Always the sixth month of the year.

So if it was made in 5/99 it is a 2000, if it is made in 6/99 its a 2000. My car was made in 2/99, February 17th or something I believe it rolled off the assembly line.
