Default Jacking up motor

I want to install my motor mounts tomorrow. Where exactly can I jack the motor up? Dont feel like getting a hoist or anything. I cant just put a block of wood under the oil pan right?

you can use the pan, although it's a bit risky, but the best thing to do would be to use a hoist. Also, remove your upper intake so it doesn't snag the lip on the firewall and cause you a bunch of headache

So how to make it not so risky?

You can jack it up under the pan but use a piece of 2x4 to distribute the weight over the entire pan so its not damaged.
