OMG!!!, the buick grand national is not supercharged!!! It's turbocharged.

haha.....good point 97stallion got caught up in the moment....but what I meant basically is yes u could put either one in a S/C or turbo and it would be fast and not hurt anything if u got the required stuff.

if you are trying to reach serious horsepower and torque numbers, you need to literally rebuild your engine with forged rods and pistons if you're staying with the 3.8. If you are going with a 4.2, I have yet to hear about anyone breaking or melting any stock pistons or rods.
