Yea! Good luck on getting that around here.... Listen, this is what I did. I recently bought a car from the next town over about an hour away. I called that county's police dept. and asked for the records dept. I told the girl that answered that I was trying to get any accident reports involving such and such vehicle. She asked for the vin, I gave it to her. She ran it and said "yea, I've got 2 reports, they will be 12 dollars each". I played the "poor me" approach and said, "listen, I'm from out of town and I'm about to buy xxx car, and I think the owner is being shady. I can't make it in town in get the reports by the time that the seller wants me to buy they car, so could you tell me the extent of what you see in front of you about it?". In my case, it was a real nice black chick and she told me everything. So, give it a try and see what you come up with.

He's in some town i've never heard of. And personally, I dont really care if a car has been in a wreck or not, as long as it has been fixed. Its more for parents benefit than mine. It says the car has like 23 records, but a record can be anything from an oil change to getting exhaust upgrades. The car is worth 7k and he's asking 6, but I'm just making sure. Its just something to drive until I get my settlement money. 06-08 gt here I come

or maybe a 350z.......but shhhh that's like blasphemy around here....

Not to me. I'm not much a fan of japanese cars, more of a german guy myself. But, that 350 right out of the box was engineered much better than most cars ever made. I watched a video of a stock one chew up a porsche, s2000, a BMW, and I think an Evo. They are sick cars, but the upkeep is crazy expensive. I read somewhere that the tranny fluid has to be changed annually and it runs $1600 or something like that....

there actually is quite a few videos, but I found the one I liked. The old man, (can't think of his name) is a racing legend. He used to own the AE86 corolla circuit. And if you don't know anything about them, you should look...... They are some sick cars too, but old school. So, ignore the language and check this out:

Forget CarFax. It's a joke. Not everything is reported, so you might be buying a car that's been wrecked and never know... or stuff can be wrong and it's clean instead of showing a hit.

That vid is sick man.

Sold me!!

Nismo exhaust is 12-1300 bucks though

but i'll get that much from my arm settlement! the srt4 is just something I can drive until then. Its being sold for 6k, if I can buy it for 55, I'll be able to sell even, possibly at a profit.
