Hahaha, I see no dyno before and after. And speaking of, I'm about due for a Texas trip again.

i am going to guess he forgot about those motors. seriously though.....bigger TBs are a waste on almost any car without ported intake manifold(s). simple explanation is the fact that the manifilds are genrally cast for that size TB. the only bigger waste is a TB spacer.

You don't need to you know it'll gain something on a boosted motor :P

Yep, and a bigger waste than a TB spacer is a tornado 0_0!

This is a situation where a "I told you so" won't be so gratifying. Like I said about opinions, take it for what it is. I work with the biggest ego's being stroked anywhere 5 days a week. Don't have to believe me. All I have to offer is my dyno sheet.
Contact the best dyno tune shop for Mustangs in your area and start up a relationship. A SCT tuner is great fun.

Yep, cause it's gonna be "we told you so" what you don't think some of us, including myself tried a trottle body on a V6 and got squat zero, natta, anything on a dyno. If you wanna blow your money go ahead, but this is a V6 you're working with, not a carbed V8, and certainly not a 4V 4.6L or 5.0. V6s do not gain anything from throttle bodies, we've all been doing this a while, we're simply trying to help you, but if you want to go on an ego trip and blow your money, go right ahead, just don't try to expect us to accept what you're thinking cause it's not accurate in this situation, but if you must be hard headed then please good sir, go right ahead and do the throttle body on a stock V6 and show us a before and after dyno that showes something different that lets say my before/after dyno on my 98 Mustang V6 I had which gained 0 hp from the throttle body and only 5 rwhp from the tune.

Unfortunately I don't have the original runs before the TB and tune, but here is the final run. Dyno was done a long time ago so I don't have it all but original run was 120.1 rwhp. Before the TB and tune. So there you go, throttle bodies are worthless on a sixer.

I could maybe email the guys and see if they still have it saved on their computer but I doubt it.

Oh forgot to add the gains were from the tuner, not the throttle body. I got the gains by increasing the timing by 5.5*. The runs before the TB and after were at 119-121 rwhp which is your normal variance in rwhp due to heat, humidity, and a lot of other factors.
