Default Brake pads

My left front brake is now grinding. Time for brakes. If my brakes are stock is there a brand i should get for them or will just anything do?

If they are grinding, then you'll also need new rotors. Ceramic pads are good.

Hawk pads and powerslot rotors(if you need rotors)

do you have 17's or 18's? If you can, might as well upgrade to mach 1/bullitt/cobra brakes in the front.

I'd go with stock motorcraft pads, I hate hawks they just throw dust. Upgrading to a powerslot will help braking as well.

+1 powerslot slotted rotors. Search the forum on brake pads. There are tons of threads about this very topic.

Agreed. Hawks did nothing extra for me. Save your money and go with motorcraft. I just bought some shipped from rockauto for 50 bucks....

EBC has some great pads that you might want to look into.

Baer Eradispeed or Powerslows are great choices.

Upgrading to 13" fronts would be nice too.

You should go to Vintage Venom and purchase the SN95 Brembo bolt on kit. That gives you pretty good quality pads. The 14" front rotors are drilled and slotted and the calipers are the "monobloc" 4 piston beauties. You just slap it on and you good to go! Or stop!!
And don't forget 18" wheels when you check out (need 'em for clearance).

Ceramic leaves no brake dust and last quite a while.
