Matthew, Do you have that Power Pack installed? What was it like when you first fired it up and drove off after installation? Was it without a SS at anytime??

Yes I have it installed. I blew a headgasket last December and upgraded while I had the engine apart. I had it for about 2 years before the kit. It had alittle more power you could feel, it pulled on the low end better, and the exhaust was deeper. But as ESG is always reminds me, its not really putting out what it could if I would cam it.

Lastly- That sounds good but I was misinformed in thinking that all of the PowerPacks get a new cam, springs, roller rockers. No, huh?

yes the Power Pack come with a cam. I opted out of the cam because I didnt have the money at the time. I do KICK myself for not going the cam with doing the rest but its just one of those things. Live and learn.

M112? Pfft! I am so past that.

At least keep your eyes open for a cheap new or used cam to swap in there.

honestly you will be lucky to see 1-2 rwhp, they really dont do anything for performance or reliability, i had the K&N on my car because i drive alot and its easier to take one screw off for the filter to clean it and reinstall then fight with the factory air box, and it does look better then stock

i ran 530 in mine 520 just seems to thin IMO, at 75k i swapped to 1030 in the summer and 530 in the winter, even though at that point the car was taken off DD status.

also i will NEVER EVER run royal purple, the following pic is off of SVTP, guy had 12,000 miles on an 03 cobra and changed with RP every 2500 miles
