Default 2000 v6 plug wire change problem

How do you remove the clip under the intake for the pass. side wires?

You mean the clip on the valve cover or the clip holding them together? I just cut it off. Got a picture?

Use a small screw flat head driver and pop it open. It snaps together at the base, so pry there and you should see it separate a little, at which point you'll see how best to open it up.

This one clip was between the firewall and engine dead center and under the upper plenum of the intake and held all 3 wires going to the right bank ( pass. side) plugs and I wanted to detach the clip from its mounting with all 3 wires still in it. And you could touch it by curving your left hand around the intake (painfully) and wiggle it and pull but it would not detach. So I just yanked the three wires hard enough to pop it or break it.... Changed the wires and it still has the same problem. A vibration like a miss but not the typical miss... not sputtering or popping just shuddering like its an imbalance somehow. Thought cross-firing wires could be it but no. Plugs looked good, coil to wire arcing was strong when wires were pulled with it running and a miss could be heard in the exh for each cyl when that wire was pulled. So, it appears all cyl's are firing. Inj's all ticking. The vibration is there at idle, worsens at 2000 to 2500 and is hardly there at 4000. I'm wondering if the vibration dampner could have shifted, the crank or cam broke/cracked, the flexplate, or something related to basic balancing. I put a breaker bar on the crank bolt and turned and listened and bounced it back and forth listening... nothing.
And its possible its some really bad gas. Its been going on for a month and may or may not have had any added... so dry gas and a fill up and fingers crossed...
So the question is... is there a common? or rare but it happens problem with y2k 3.8 engines that could cause a vibration?

I was the harmonic dampner, slipping on the rubber. Not oily at all, I put a punch in a 3/8 shallow hole in the cast iron and it turned on the rubber.... $95 fix, dealer only with 25% off. Should have checked it better before replacing the pita wires...
