Clutch
I have a 1994 V6 3.8 mustang with a 5 speed trans... and my clutch is sticking and i don't know why? i got the car as a gift and i don't know much about it... the people i bought it from said that they replace the clutch and i brought it to a mechanic and he said that they ONLY replaced the clutch and not the throw out barring. but i really don't know much.. someone please help me :/
Well you could try adjusting it by pulling up firmly on the clutch pedal to see if that helps. You will hear it click several times as you do this.
If they change your TB bearing they will have to charge you for full labor on a clutch swap because they should change the pilot bearing as well.
The TB and PB should only be about $40-$50 in parts, stick with Ford OEM parts or RAM.
RAM has a very nice kevlar PB that is a better than stock option.
