Default modding help

i have an 04 3.8l v6 with a 5 speed manual transmission and have just gotten into the whole modding scene. So far i have just done a few slight cosmetic mods and am really wanting to get more out of the engine but stay in a reasonable price range for now i am just thinking a cold air intake and an exhaust. I really like the look of dual exhaust but am unsure of all the pieces i would need to make this conversion. Would it be better to just get a full system in this case? Any help would be nice. Thank you.

(1) Catback: Can either be new aftermarket or a 99-04 GT takeoff

(2) Midpipe: Can either be new aftermarket (catted or O/R) or fabricated by a muffler shop from behind your stock cats

The cheapest route is a GT takeoff with fabricated midpipe, and I would personally prefer that setup if I were doing a single to dual conversion on a 99-04 V6. This also requires:

(3) Hangers: One right side muffler hanger and two rear exhaust tip hangers

Whether using an aftermarket catback or a GT takeoff, strongly recommended is:

(4) Rear Bumper Cover: GT takeoff which has the correct cutouts for the exhaust tips
