Default M112 Kit - Updates

From when the adapter kit first came out everyone had to buy cowl hoods to clear the supercharger being so far out and all. For the time being have they drastically decreased the size of the adapter plate to allow not having to get a 4" cowl hood to be the only one to clear it? Reason I'm asking this is because I'm in the process of getting this finished by the beginning of the summer. I saw the M112 thread and i didn't notice my question being answered but figured I'd see if someone would know any updates on this. If I can't sit the supercharger under my shaker I'm considering selling the current setup I have for a fraction of what it costs to get the supercharger project going.. But I'd like to keep the setup I have now for reason being.. Cheaper... and Mach1 Setup + Termi bumper is just badass looking. ;]

this is an image from the thread but will give you an idea as to what you can do

you can see that you have to cut a little bit of the shaker out to make room for the pulley.

I'm in RI not too far from you. But does the actual mach 1 shaker setup have a little more cowl raise than a stock V6 hood with the CDC shaker? If you want to fit it under there, which I think you can definitely get the shortest adaptor plate, not through ssm.

Yes, the Mach 1 hood is VERY different than the CDC shaker. You won't even be close without a new hood. The lowest profile adaptor is still the ones I made, and you need a 2 1/2" cowl for them. Nathan's new version is the next lowest. SSM has a new one as well, but it's still pretty tall.
