If nothing can be worked out then painting them black is about the only thing you can do if a tire shop cant turn the tire around the wheel to get it to even out more.

Did you get our Forum Discount from them?
Yea.. I was able to get the discount which helped but still.. To spend around 1200 and have this much weight needed to balance a tire just doesn't seem right.. and i know other guys on here have purchased wheels and no one has said they had similar issues so im starting to wonder if this is just what they had left laying around and maybe something was damaged or if they just have an inexperienced guy balancing these wheels out.. i have NEVER seen this on any type of wheel.. I have gone through many sets of wheels/tires on my cars, my brothers cars, gf's cars, friends cars and never seen this many weights used.. I emailed AM and included the pics above to show them.. So lets see what they say.. I expressed concern that there might be a problem with the wheel or tire but i think something needs to be done.. I dont mind taking them to a local shop and having them rebalanced but at no time should it be at my cost.. I paid for a package deal that included the mounting and balancing so lets see what happens..

No offense and sorry, but those weights look like S**T, a real good tire guy with a well calibrated tire balance machine could do that with a max of say 5 stick on weights. What that looks like is they where to lazy to rotate the tire and rebalance them. Call tham up and give them an earful.

Black saleens is my guess. I'll have to look at the back of mine tomorrow to confirm.

And those would look legit on your car, if you have them.

Hmm I guess I'm gonna think twice before buying those wheels. Maybe that's the reason their mounting and balancing is "free" haha... If I drop over 1 grand on their wheels it better be done right.. I hate when online shopping becomes a hassle.

While I dont condone it, its his personal taste!

Fink, its in your color too!

I guess THATS why it took so many weights to ballance!
