Just an update.. Still waiting to hear back from AM.. Emailed them but nothing in response.. Just send AMStanger a message so we'll see what happens with that.. I plan on calling in soon but have been working doubles so can only access the internet here and there... No personal calls... Hopefully we can come up with some some kind of resolution to this...

Still no email back? They usually respond to mine within 1 business day, maybe they're just backed up on emails. They've been getting a lot of attention lately with all the deals going on so I can imagine their customer service may be backed up. Best of luck to you

Yea.. Just got their email.. They want me to check all the wheels over and let them know where the red dot is in comparison to the valve stem.. Apparently the red dot is supposed to be on the opposite side of the valve stem to "balance out" the low spot and high spot or something.. Also said that anything up to 5oz of weight is normal.. which at 24 weights per wheel at 1/4 oz each puts us at 6oz.. so im guessing they are going to try and say that since 5oz of weight is normal then 6 isnt anything dramatic.. but idk.. i guess we will see.. but in any case i have NEVER seen so many weights used.. i mean i have had some crap wheels with bubbles in the tires and seen them balance out with little weights.. so i guess ill check the wheels over AGAIN tomorrow and see whats up with these dots.. too tired to start taking them out now.. 2 days of 16 hours in patrol kinda gets to you.. and its already 1am and i have to be up at 6 for another day... luckily tomorrow is just an 8 hour shift..

Well lets hope they can take care of it for you, at the least replace the wheel that has more than 5oz of weight on it and pay for a rebalance if the dot is not where its suppose to be.

Yea.. Well its not just 1 wheel.. 2 wheels have 24 weights each.. 3rd wheel has 8 weights and last wheel has 6 weights.. none of the wheels have the red dot match where it is supposed to be so that explains a little.. i emailed them back with the correct info so now its just a waiting game to see what they do..

I'll stay tuned in for the Monday update!
Likely won't hear anything before then.
It certainly is a strange situation.
It would likely cost more to ship them back than to just take them to your tire store.
I'm betting they are going to hit you up for $15 a wheel to break it down, line it up and balance them. Ask for $60 back and get them on your ride!

And now a week later...... are the wheels on the car? Are the wheels headed back to PA? Where are the pics? Was AM helpful? Did you take them to your local tire shop? Cost? You are leaving us hanging here!
