Default Power Steering Issue

So today when I popped the hood on my car I noticed that my power steering fluid was overflowing out of the top of the reservoir. The fluid was also brown, burnt obviously. Steering is fine at highway speeds and city streets, and doesn't make any odd sounds. Does anyone know what the issue could be? Im assuming its a bad power steering pump. And does anyone have a general idea of what it would cost to replace the pump.

If you have turned the wheel while the motor was off at any time it will overflow.

I would suggest replacing the fluid and maybe even check into pricing of a new pump, last I remember they are fairly cheap.

First things first, clean up the mess and fill to the line and watch it over the next couple of weeks. If you see no more overflows then just replace the fluid.
