Replacement 3.8L V6?

94/95 swapping with a 2002 both have 3.8l v6
Someone is buying my v6 for their blown motor replacement. I have a 2002 v6 mustang he has a 94-95 v6. Mine is an automatic and his his manual I am giving the wire harness and ECU with but will he still need a tune or should it all work out?
