Default help with my CAI

I have everything installed on my CAI except the filter because I cant find where it is that it attaches to in the well of the car. Am I supposed to remove the gaurd in the well?

Default RE: help with my CAI

The tubing should go from the TB to the MAF then from there it goes down and most make a right angle turn into the the hole next to where the old airbox sat and the air silencer went in. Most if not all kits should come with a large plate to cover the hole and give support to the intake tubing, the filter will mount inside the fender and is usually attached with something along the lines of a band clamp. You will have to remove the inner wheel well which is held in by those push-pin things. Hope that helps sorry if it doesn't
