Long tubes or stock. Shorties don't do anything on the 3.8L except lighten your wallet.

 

If you have smog like I do (CA so strict), long tubes aren't going to be legal, you can get some 94-98 headers that will flow a little better than the manifolds you currently have. I'm pretty sure no fab to the exhaust is necessary, should bolt right up to the exhaust flange.

 

If you dont have to pass tests then MAC long tubes.

 

Alright guys thanks for the info. I'm pretty sure north carolina has no smog testing so ill be looking into some long tube headers
