Angry 2004 3.9ltr electrical issue

If anyone can help me, please tell me what i am doing wrong. i was having some electrical issues with the vehicle a few months ago so i tightened the terminals on the battery just to see if that's what the issue was.. solved the problem for maybe a week. after this my battery started to die or just not want to start the car. mind you i changed out the battery after this happened. that fixed the issue for maybe a month.
Here's the important part
i changed the alternator, as anyone would do.. and the car dies again. even after jumping it the car would not hold a charge. i have checked all of the visible wiring in the top of the engine bay as well as my grounds, nothing looks wrong. also the car started to have dimming lights, the radio would flash in and out as well at the radio light cutting off and on, engine noise was playing through my speakers, the battery meter kept dropping, along with my R.P.M's ( at idle ). Can someone please help me out.
I left my car in a parking lot for 3 days, went to jump it and it took a little to charge, but it fired up and seemed to have nothing wrong... that's the problem. the problem is never permanently solved..
The car is a manual as well, if this would have any play in the situation

is the alternator you bought a rebuilt one? I've had bad luck with buying rebuilt things like that...and if it's new, it may just be defective? might be worth looking into...or maybe purchase one of those meters that actually tells you whether or not your alternator is charging your battery...

i went to a local junkyard and pulled it off of a perfect body '01 they told me that every part in the car worked. it was in a rear end collision and the motor had not been touched. im really confused considering ive done quite a bit to this car.. as in repairing. i also need a rack and pinion set up.. ive been adding fluid to the vehicle and it has been getting on some of the wires.. you think that could have something to do with the problem??

so, virtually figured out the issue, it wasn't just the alternator, it was the battery cables as well, job cost me nothing in parts, but the labor was a bitch and a half. ford parts and labor cost a lot of money, thanks for the help guys, shoulda figured that was the issue from the befogging.
