You aren't going to get that much power without a LOT of money or a supercharger.
The cheapest way is to just put a blower on it and call it a day. Just to give you an idea, I did a stroked (4.2L) fully built V6 and made 247 rwhp before adding the supercharger.

Cams can be found at Super Six Motorsports. Tom can set you up with one that will match your other mods.

other than finding a used s/c kit

low mileage 4.2 block + h/c/i + long tubes + windstar will get you around 250

As stated you need to invest some serious cash to make just modest levels of power N/A. The 94-98 is a very poor building block to go with simply because of all the cost to get it to make it perform at the levels of modern cars. A lot of people shoot for 200 rwhp with most SN95 V6s, well I can tell you 200 rwhp, while nice, isn't a lot and to get beyond that, especially on a 94-98 it takes a lot of cash. Do yourself a favor and sell the car and buy a newer Mustang that has much more potential at a lower cost.

The only good thing about the 94-98s is the essex 3.8L block, but the intake, heads, rear end, and electronics are horrible to work with.

Now that doesn't mean there aren't some economy level builds out there that you can do, but with that said you're still gonna have to spend some cash and lots of time adapting and modifying parts to fit. A good example is an M-90 swap. It will wake up the single port V6 decently and can be done at a cheapish price, however there is a lot of work that goes into the swap. Another option is the split port M-112 swap. This will cost about 2X as much as the M-90 but will make more hp and will completely revamp the cars performance. Now both of these are supercharger mods, but that's really the best way to go with the V6 Mustang pre 2011.
