Negative Battery Cable Length?

Negative Battery Cable Length?
My wifey's negative battery cable needs to be replaced (corrosion & terminal clamp is cracked). My local auto parts store doesn't list one specific to her ride and said they would just order the length of cable I need. Only issue with that is I don't know how long the negative battery cable is. Removing the existing one and measuring it isn't an option because its her daily driver and I need to make the downtime as low as possible.
So how long is the negative battery cable on a '98 3.8L. Thanks...

Since it's just the terminal that is cracked and corroded just replace the terminal. Less time and money. Here is one at autozone as an example.

Walmart sells them too.

Thanks for the reply and the link, but its not just the terminal. The terminal is cracked. Its the cable that is corroded. The battery acid (or whatever that green/white stuff is) got all up in the wire end. I don't know how far back, but its inside the heat shrink tubing.

The corrosion can just be wire brushed clean. It is just surface corrosion and doesn't creep down the wire. To replace the terminal you have to cut the wire at the old terminal and strip about an inch of the cover to expose the wire to get a good connection to the new terminal. Just that alone will get rid of the corrosion on the wire and you will have clean copper wire showing.
