Default Dual Flows

I just got dual flowmasters and my v6 runbles like a damn v8 now. But the place that did it was kinda sketchy on what that would really do for me, so I'm wondering what other 6 drivers have noticed in their dual 6's, and if you could let me know. I feel more power, but I can't tell if it's psychosomatic or not. Lemme know. Oh, and what are the major benefits of a cold air intake? I'm pretty new to this scene.

You really don't pick up a hell of a lot of HP with either one. What I noticed right off was throttle response. It feels like a lot of HP, but as I said it's not. Maybe 15-20 with both. Plus you will get a little better gas milage. Another relativly cheap way to go faster is Under Drive pulleys. You add NO horsepower, but you do TRANSFER around 15-20 HP from accessories to the rear wheels. I'm getting the UD crank and water pump pulleys installed Monday. I got my kit with belt included for $200.00, plus around $100 to install. I could do it myself, but I have no space or compressor to do it.

PS
After I installed the Rousch racing springs(lowered the front 1.5" and rear .75") It sounded even better. It's because of resonance.

i have straight pipes. no mufflers and side exit are the ****. it is quiet at idle but rumbles more than flows during normal acceration and screams like nothing else at WOT. ask anyone who has been to the Gwinnett meetings, i think everyone liked the sound.

Hey Matt, did you custom make the side exits or buy a kit?

custom. but you can get a similar system from www.xpipe.com

i am thinking about that cat-back with a www.pypes.com x-pipe.

i used 2.5 inch pipes and 3 inch tips, the only problem is i can't add subframe connectors cause the pipes aren't right, so i am going to buy a kit.

i really need a camera and something to record the sound this thing makes when i get on it. someone would blow their nuts from it
