We are 1/2 way through the motor replacement on the 97 stang. The battery cables have been cobbled with the clamp on ends and I figure now is the time for improvements. I am having trouble finding replacements except for the $300 for the Ford factory unit. Any good ideas.

I have a friend at a local battery supply shop looking at the cost to custom make a set. He thought under $60. That sounds like a plan to me.

 

Sounds like you have a good plan already Though you might check with Rock Auto and see what they have, they can surprise you from time to time...
