Default M112

So, i was recently looking on Craigslist, and i found a guy in Virginia Beach with 2 M112's. One with a stock pulley for $350, another with a 3.76 Pulley for $400. Some of you may remember me saying something about me obtaining a 3.9L for cheap with ~18k miles. Would a M112 fit on the 3.9L i looked at the guide on here and it says 3.8L or 4.2L. Also, Is that a good deal on the supercharger. I am considering picking it up this weekend if it would be a good deal, and if i don't manage to get the 3.9L would it be a bad idea to put it on a 2001 3.8 with 200K miles? or would i just bust something real quick? I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to turbos/SC's but does it effect gas mileage in a negative way? I am assuming a turbo does but im unsure about a SC. Thanks for your responses.

It will fit. Here are a couple video links to 3.9L with a M112 on them...

As for what you need I found this list on another site...

Fuel Pump
Injectors
IAT2 sensor and pigtail
Adapter Plate
M112 + TB/Plenum
CAI
RTV sealant
Serpentine Belt
secondary Idler pulley
Boost bypass valve actuator
And that is pretty cheap for price in my eyes. Here is a great site for just this.......

Turbo's both help gas mileage and can take it away, when I had my T70 on the stang I was getting great mileage out of it as long as it was just cruising of course. s/c will hurt the mileage pretty much always. I also have a really good deal on that kit going on right now.

Mileage wont be greatly affected with a M112 as long as you stay out of boost until needed.

LilRoush stated he was getting high 20's with it.

Just keep in mind you will need another $2000 or so in parts.

These days you can find M112s in good shape for under $300 if you look.
Get a whole kit from Nathan (MySteed) if you aren't sure of stuff.
There is a TON of other stuff not listed that you'll need. It's not worth the time/energy to chase it all down.

Well i mean as for the fuel pump and injectors, isnt it the same as the ones stock on a cobra? I can get those for next to nothing because i work at NAPA and have a great discount program.

Fuel pump use the SVT Focus unit. But that's 2 things out of about 200 you need to do it right.
