My driver's side door is starting to squeak when I open it. Is there a type of oil / grease I should use on it? My Trans-Am did this and just like this car the door was already a pain to keep open on any incline. I put machine oil on it and the thing would never stay open again and i had to re oil it again in a few months.

 

Mine was doing the same thing, and i tried some All in one oil, found at walmart or pretty much hardware store, and it fixed it a little, but then went back and gave it a good blow job with a air compressor and it completely got rid of the noise, been going quite for prolly 4 or 5 months by now
