Default Who has installed fog lights on V6

I am looking at installing some fog lights on my 2004 v6. I looked at kit from vmp tuning that claims to have everything needed to install. I just want to know if anyone here has installed these themselves? I have to cut the fins out on my front spoiler so they can be mounted. I just want to ask if anyone had success/issues with the install of the lights and wiring that they can pass on any good info to me. I really appreciate it!

I installed them on my 95. The good thing about our cars (94-95's, and some 96) that come from the factory with the pigtails already installed from the factory. What I did was just cut the pigtails and wired them into the headlight wires so the fogs come on with the headlights. Works perfect and dont have any problems running to much juice (I even with HID's).

The package from vmp has the lights and brackets, relay and harness, and the factory switch. I just wasn't sure if anyone on here has installed one so they could advise if there are any issues that they had to keep an eye out for.

The kit is pretty straight forward. Has everything you will need. I built my own harness but wired it the same way the kit works. You basically need to hook up the 12v and grounds and mount the switch.

its really not that hard to put the factory switch in.... if you have one burn out or are sitting somewhere it might be nice not to have them on.

^ listen to mustangman.. I got the kit from vmp without the fog light switch. The only thing I'm going to change is the lack of the fog light switch. I had a fog light go out and ended up pulling the fuse so I wouldn't have any problems. Not hard at all to do but for me being lazy pushing a button in the car is more convenient that popping the hood and pulling a fuse.
