To my knowledge aluminum is what most companies use on exhaust pipes, but still look them over for dents, craks, or anything that just doesn't look or feel right to you. Like I said if everything is good then get it done. Remember if you don't like the sound you can always put different mufflers on.
why have mufflers at all? my car does not have them and it is quieter than with flows at idle and cruisin', but when i get on it look out, downright nasty

Maybe I missed it, but did you ever decide if your getting a mid pipe or not? If you did, what did you decide X or H???
