Default Oil Changing /:

Made a thread about this already but i wanna make sure what you guys think. my car says it has 209k on it but the guy i bought it off said theres a new motor put in, when i got it i just changed the oil and filter to just cheap stuff and a fram filter. (10w30) some people told me to switch to 5w20 motorcraft oil. winter is coming shortly and it goes down to about -10 and -20. another question is if my car is burning oil will it burn more of the 5w20 because its not as thick? would it make my car run better? thanks again guys sorry for the missunderstanding.

5w20 motorcraft synthetic blend oil is good oil id use it. i use it and never had any problems i do live in California tho no - degree temps here but still does good on chilly Northern California start ups. And its a good deal you can get the 1 gallon jug 5w20 motor motorcraft @ walmart and im not sure about oil filter but im sure can get one for cheap at auto part store
