My (ABS) light is on and I checked with a scanner and all I got was:
"Evap System Mon Inc" The light came on when a family member was installing my stereo. Was are the possibilities to the (ABS) light.

 

Low fluid, worn pads, bad wheel speed sensor, have a shop scan it for you, they have scanners that can pull codes for abs, normal code scanners only pull codes associated with the check engine light.

 

sometimes it can also be caused by a pinch in the wire if not one of those stated above rare but does happen

 

Still should get a shop to scan it with one of their scanners, then you know whats wrong and can fix it yourself lol, I had an abs light on myself, went to a mechanic his scanner said my passenger front wheel speed sensor was bad, turned out to just be a dirty connection, so I spend a grand total of zip, zero, nada to get it diagnosed and fix it myself lol.

 

My boy has this scanner Actron It's the one I used.

And according to that website it has ABS support. Local shops around where I live are charging me from 80 to 100 to scan it, which is a rip off.

Wow that sucks, shop down the road scanned mine for free, and my scanner says it does too but it didn't read any codes.
