Default Window stopped working

The driverside window suddenly stopped working. When I try to open the window, I only hear a little electrical click and nothing happends!
Is this expensive to repair?

Did you happen to check the fuses? I would say it is either a blown fuse or a loose wire if your just getting a click.

Not sure of the number But there is a fuse panel underneath the dash by the pedals on the driver side, Has a plastic cover over it, I usually just take my fuse checker and go over all of them, you can get a tester for just a couple bucks.

Its not the fuse if you hear an electrical click. Does the passenger side work? if yes than its not the fuse . The fuse is shared by both windows. Your motor is bad or has a corroded connector.I get that every once in awhile. If I bang on the door, right around the speaker grill while pressing the don button, the window should work. try it.

Mine does it also, sporadically. The drivers side will stop working for about a day or two, and then start working again suddenly. I have noticed it is usually after I have left my windows cracked while driving in the rain, or while parked overnight and it rained. Ford uses crappy plastic in their interiors (and crappy rubber under the hood). The way in which the door panels attach to each other also leaves much to ponder over. The plastic piece around my drivers side door-handle has already come off at 65k miles and I had to glue it back on, then rip it off to try and fix my window (a couple times). Now I just leave it loose and take care to leave my windows up when its wet out. Haven't had the issue for a while now.

Mine does it too every once in awhile. It only does it when the window is in the down position. I hold the switch down in the up position and give a smack to the door by the speaker and it will go up. You could try actuating the switch in the down position, and at the same time the switch is engaged, give the door a good hit by the speaker. I read somewhere that this is a common problem.
